STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® Performance Audio has developed and perfected two new sizes of thin-mount CompVT™ Subwoofers, shown at CES 2016 at booth 1719 in the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall. All subwoofers come with a single 2- or 4-Ohm terminal and are available in 10- and 12-inch models. The woofers will be available at Authorized KICKER Dealers in-store and online in January.
At less than five inches deep, the KICKER CompVT is built for high power handling, yet versatile enough to fit in slim mounting applications. The sleek blackout look and red surround stitching complement a sophisticated design resulting in a high-caliber bass for every musical genre.
To increase durability and ensure maximum cooling of the motor, the CompVT has 360-degree perimeter venting and UniPlate™ back-plate and pole-piece construction. A shallow-depth, four-piece voice coil and ventless pole also provide excellent bass and additional heat dissipation. KICKER SoloKon™ technology marries the cone to a vented back brace, creating a single, cohesive system that ensures superior sonic quality at any volume level.
The injection-molded cone is spoked for a dynamic look, while a large-roll spider and ribbed surround create a highly flexible suspension system for low bass and high power handling in a thin-mount subwoofer
