RE Audio is shipping its first fully digital, compact car audio amplifiers to fall under its SA series.
The company claims the amplifiers, designed and proto-typed in the US, deliver better sound than most a/b amplifiers.
They measure less than 5 inches wide with a power rating of 1820 watts RMS @ 1 ohm at 14.4 volts and they can produce up to 3,000 watts of dynamic power said RE Audio’s Hernando JR Mares.
He said the amplifiers are able to ensure safe output down to a .6 ohm load.
The digital SA amplifiers also use a unique self-oscillating output for improved efficiency with twice the damping factor compared to other digital amplifiers, he said.
The amplifiers, designed by RE Audio Chief Engineer and Co-Founder of US Amps Dirk Ecker, have a variable bass boost, 35hz-250hz ranged low pass filter and subsonic filter ranging from 10hz-50hz. They also use a 3-way protection circuit as a safeguard against any thermal, overload, as well as speaker short protection issues.
